Welcome to CEP

The Clinical Educator Programme (CEP) is a CPD programme of workshops and online modules in clinical education, for clinicians and academics who teach Edinburgh University medical students.

Level 2

Who is it for?

Clinicians who have a significant educational role
Those who require to be GMC recognised and approved as trainers in the following roles: Named Educational Supervisors; Lead coordinators of undergraduate training at local education providers; Doctors responsible for overseeing students' educational progress for each medical school.

What's required?

What will you obtain?

A certificate of completion endorsed by your local health board
This level is aligned with GMC requirements for Recognition and Approval of Trainers Framework Areas 1-7
